You don't have to bring in your Porsche* into a garage or workshop. You can install the tuning files directly into your car via your PC / Notebook.

Through the online connection it is possible to get a direct view into the engine management system, the heart of your vehicle.This gives a real view into settings, parameters, current software version and possible trouble / error codes. Manufacturers also optimize their motor-management-software during the vehicle's life cycle.

This helps to adapt the right settings for the right software version.

No! Reading settings, values and the current software can all happen online via the diagnostics socket. You simply need a Windows® PC / Laptop with an internet connection, that can be connected directly with the vehicle.

Below you will find all necessary steps in brief:

a) Installation of the tuning client software on your PC / Laptop to read out current values and settings of your vehicle.

b) Start the tuning client and wiring of the vehicle and the PC.

c) Check the internet connection and the communication between the vehicle.

d) Reading out the currently installed engine-management software, parameters, settings and values. check online if error codes / trouble codes are stored, that need to be considered. Building a software version of current state.

e) Make comments and notes about existing modifications of your vehicle and send them to the tuning team.

f) Send the software and information to the tuning team (Via E-MAIL)

g) You will get back a tuning file and a version of the current software, that you can use as "Reference" . This takes approximately between 4 hours and 24 hours (1 week day) You can reprogramme your vehicle on your own.

h) You are done. Your Porsche* model is tuned. Please note that you might need to get a new technical approval to drive on public roads or you also need to alter your vehicle's insurance. Please contact your national traffic authorities before your start tuning the vehicle. You need to make sure that the modifications are legally compliant with national regulations.

To do a proper online tuning you need a PC or laptop computer with a current Windows® operating system such as Windows XP®, Windows 2000®. Your PC also need to have a direct internet connections (cable connection or wireless),that the vehicle's setting can be read-out online.

Apart from that expert computer knowledge is not required. You should be able to install software and know how to send an E-MAil.

Please keep the delivery time of the tuning software client and the interface cable. This could also take a couple of days.

Yes! Compared with many other chip-tuning companies and tuning products off the shelf, we do not supply standard tuning files or replace a chip for a single engine type. We manually create a tuning file that fits exactly to your engine and engine-management software version. Existing modifications will also be taken into account.

As we read out the vehicle settings via the imnternet it is possible to get a real insight into the engine, to create a tailormade tuning software that matsches your vehicle 100%.

You will definitely notice the performance increase. The power increase will also be noticed by a much better acceleration and torque increase. In general turbo charged engines and turbo versions have a much higher performance increase than the standard version.

It is also very important that the tuning matches the engines.The Porsche* engines are one of the most reliable and durable vehicle engines.

Tunig should find the right balance between performance increase and durability. All tunig products and solutions have all been manually designed and created with an experience of more than 20 years. Each of them has been tested and evaluated with extensive dynamometer tests.

All tuning files are within the security and performance tolerances of the engines.

But be also aware, that existing modifications that are not mentioned during the tuning process could also harm and damage the vehicle. If you are not aware of vehicle modifications because you have purchased your Porsche* 2nd-hand, please have a look into your vehicle papers or fax them to us. It could also be worth to contact the vendor or former owner of the vehicle to get clarification.

If you need the tuning file again, you can re-programme it afterwards.

But changing the tuining file and the original file too often can also be a problem We recommend not to swap the files more than twice a week.

Yes! If your vehicle is still under warranty, warranty will be void/ lost. It is quite normal that manufacturers do not want to grant warranty for modifications, they have not implemented on their own.

It can also be that you need to indicate the tuning modifications to your local traffic authorities and that the performance increase needs to written down into the vehicle's papers. As these regulations differ by country, please check in advance.

We sell our tuning solution for usage on non public roads. Our customers need to make sure that the changes of the vehicle is compliant to national regulations.
