1.st Step: After the payment has been received, we will immediately ship the Porsche * Online-Tuning-KIT. The CD-ROM with the tuning software Client needs to be installed on your PC or Notebook. You require a Windows® based PC with Windows 98®, 2000®, XP® or Vista® operating system.

The PC / Notebook requires a functional Internet Connection. The delivered interface cable needs to be plugged into a spare USB connector with your PC / Notebook (Please do not use an USB -HUB!!)

The 16-pin diagnostics connector will be connected with the vehicles diagnostics interface. The Diagnostics socket can usually be found underneath the steering wheel, close to the boxes with the fuses. Maybe it is covered with a plastics cover. See picture 1.

After the vehicles has been connected with the cable and the PC, a green light indicates a proper wiring connection.

Before you start reading out the current values and settings from your Onboard Computer, make sure that your vehicles battery is in a good condition! You might need a fresh recharge or an additional battery charger as a support power-supply.

If you are using a notebook computer, make sure that the battery is in a good condition.

Switch the key of the ignition to position 1! The lights should be on, the engine needs to be off! The fan could start during the process.
